Before my arrival in Wrexham I had an arrested idea of the sport in Wales. I thought that they like football and love the rugby but after two weeks in this town my opinion had change.

I explain me, with any friends we love football in France and the Barclays Premier League of United Kingdom is the best championship for me. And after two match in the same pub we talked with any Welsh men’s who watched the match with our. And I was so surprise after our opinion exchange against the football.

All welsh peoples prefer football than rugby in the north east of Wales and the two best English team who they support are Liverpool FC and Manchester United FC. This football culture could be explained with the proximity of England because Liverpool is situating at just ninety minutes by train of Wrexham.

Even if they like Liverpool and Manchester, the Reds Dragons Wrexham FC which is just in the fifth league championship is in all the Hearth of Wrexham supporter’s of football.

I refound the football culture of proximity which is the same less develops in France. We will go to see the next match of Wrexham FC to discover the environment in the stadium.

However, for the rugby in Wrexham is the national team which make the unanimity and not the Crusaders and we asked the question “why” at any supporters and they explained our that is in the south of Wales and principally with Cardiff where the rugby passion dominate against football.

So to conclude my article, I would like to say that it’s very funny to talk about with any strangers who have the same passion for the sport and opposite our point of view against our team in different championship.

My next article will deals with the religion Good bye!!!

  • Since our arrival in wrexham, now two weeks ago, we have was able to know the nocture life of this city. To do it, we tried various bars and nightclub. I am now going to make a small summary of good places to go out, and as told us a sir: we are never too old to party, so let’s go One of Wrexham's best qualities is great nightlife with its many bars, pubs and choice of five night-clubs and tenpin bowling most of which are located in quite a small area. So it's a good thing that Wrexham town centre is buzzing at night. Wrexham certainly is not a town where you have to walk very far during a night out and there are plenty of quite different establishments to cater for all tastes.

The nightlife in wrexham is good for people aged 12 - 78. Bowling, Cinema and Restaurants There’s something dangerously addictive about tenpin bowling. The light show, the music, the clatter of pins. And when you get a strike, you just want to hear that noise again and again. Welcome to the razzmatazz of Tenpin at Eagles Meadow. A state-of-the-art 24-lane centre that’s bringing a little bit of America to the heart of Wrexham. And when you’ve finished? You can sleep or you can catch a movie at the eight-screen Odeon right next door or enjoy a post-strike celebration at restaurants like Nando’s, Pizza Express and Frankie and Benny’s.

Nightclubs and Live Music We wouldn’t say Wrexham never sleeps specialy on Thursday to Sunday . But it stays up late enough to satisfy even the most serious party animal. Trendy bars, leather sofas, dancer podiums, LED colour washes. The most popular pub or nightclub like The Bank, Voodoo Moon, and Liquid and Envy (the biggest night clubs in Wales, with the 1620 capacity) can satisfy ourselves until 4 am And if you prefer live music you can go to Central Station and its downstairs venue Yales Café Bar offers a heady mix of gigs, club nights and comedy. Check out Bar Cuprum at the Wynnstay Hotel, the deceptively large Barracuda Bar, Honky Tonks with three floors and comfortable seats upstairs, the popular Checkers Wine Bar, Milliners Irish pub, Harvey's Wine Bar and Scruffy Murphy's Irish pub. The Fat Cat Café Bar is very smart, has great atmosphere, great food and a roof top terrace. Live DJs playing on Friday and Saturday nights making this a popular venue. For a traditional pub atmosphere, the thatched Horse and Jockey pours a good pint and has a selection of guest ales. Rame guillaume Just outside the town centre, the pubs are generally more relaxed. The Plas Coch, next to the University serves food all day and is packed during quiz nights twice a week.

The Plough Inn in Gresford has recently been refurbished, as has The Acton pub. Both offer traditional pub food and are clean, cosy and friendly. Another popular location and featured in the Good Pub Guide is the Pant-yr-Ochain near Gresford which was a 16th century Manor House.

  • How you can come to Wrexham?

    By plane:

Why not, but Wrexham hasn’t got an airport. You can take the plane and arrive to Liverppol, Manchester, London or Cardiff but after that, you will have to take a train or a car to meet Wrexham.

    By Train:

Wrexham is located at ten minutes to Chester, the biggest town of the north of Wales, one hour of Liverpool and one hour and half of Manchester and you can stop you in once on the five railway stations of the city, Wrexham General, Wrexham Central, Gwersyllt, Ruabon and Chirk. An others solution you can take the Eurostar Paris to London.

    By car:

How I said, you can let a rent a car after your arrival at the airport, however you can come from France with your car you can take the ferry in Caen or Calais. And if the money is not a problem for you, take a taxi and you will not have any problems for the journey to Wrexham.

    How move in Wrexham?

    By Bus:

WCBC Bus services: There are more 30 lines of bus in Wrexham to serve the city and his surroundings with several taxi bus, School Transport, public transport etc…

    By taxi:

There are several companies of taxi in Wrexham for every budget. They mostly work all day. You can take it to visit the city or the most practicle to go out in night club and return in life.

    On walk:

If weather permits to walk, (no I just kidding) Wrexham is not high but it’s a very beautiful city and I never get tired to look them. You can walk to your university, visit several churches, go to the stadium for a football match or in a pub downtown.
